Here at Ticket School, we offer a variety of online learning options to drivers of all experience levels. One of our most popular courses is the Florida TLSAE (Traffic Law Substance Abuse Education) course, which educates drivers about the perils of driving while intoxicated or on drugs. In the state of Florida, this course is required before you can earn a learner’s permit, and if you have been convicted of a DUI or DWI, a judge may have ordered you to take this course. The TLSAE course is open to any driver to soon-to-be driver over the age of 14. Best of all, the course can even be taken on your smartphone, providing an easy, convenient option for just about everyone.

Who Should Take the Course?

Contrary to popular belief, our course isn’t just for those who have been convicted of alcohol or drug-related driving offenses. Our Florida TLSAE course is for anyone who is interested in learning how to drive safely and avoid endangering the lives of others. If you are interested in learning new safe driving strategies and practices, the course can update your repertoire of skills.

The Convenience of Online Learning

One of the best things about Ticket School is that we allow our students to complete the course completely online. We understand that you have other commitments, and we want you to be able to learn as much as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. There are no required on-campus meetings, and you can access your Florida TLSAE course materials from any device with a reliable internet connection. Before you start, Ticket School will provide your own login ID that will allow you to access your course from virtually anywhere in the world.

Learning is a delicate process, and we would never want to rush any of our students. That is why we allow you to learn at your own pace. Our courses are offered at your convenience and you can log in or out as many times as you need to. We also automatically save your progress and sync it across all devices including your smartphone. This means for example that if an emergency or power outage forces you to log out abruptly, our Florida TLSAE course will save any work that you have completed. Whether you decide to take your course in the comfort of your own home, or on your smartphone at your local coffee shop, your lessons will always be available to you.

Course Structure and Requirements

Our course is divided into 10 separate units that will teach you the following.

  • Myths and untrue facts about drinking and driving
  • Ways to avoid intoxicated driving
  • The most common causes of vehicle crashes

To help you learn more efficiently, Ticket School will provide you with a variety of quizzes, videos, and animations. At the end of the Florida TLSAE course, you will be required to take a state-mandated exam. You will have multiple attempts to take this exam, but most of our students pass the first time. Ticket School will also send the results of your test to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. If you are also ready to take the Florida Driver’s License exam we offer that as well. Once you have completed both of those requirements you are ready to schedule your trip to your local DHSMV office.
