NEW YORK Internet Point Insurance Reduction Program (IPIRP)

How An IPIRP Can Benefit You

Our New York Internet Point Insurance Reduction Program (IPIRP) is a six-hour defensive driving course approved by the DMV to help drivers stay safe on the roadways, reduce points on their driving records, and / or qualify for an auto insurance discount. The entire course is 100% online, which means it is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no final exam and it can be taken on any Internet enabled device (PC, laptops, tablets, or smart phones).

Point Reduction

“Point Reduction” means that the NY DMV will not count up to four (4) points on your record when determining revocation or suspension penalties. The point reduction benefit only applies to violations occurring within the 18 months prior to course completion. Also, the IPIRP course does not give you a credit for points / violations in the future. (Further details are available in our New York FAQ’s.)

The IPIRP course is an outstanding way to save money on auto insurance because it provides a mandatory 10% auto insurance reduction, which will be applied to the base rate for the driver’s current liability and collision premiums. The discount applies to the principal operator of a vehicle and will remain in effect for three years after the IPIRP course is completed; however, the course can then be retaken every three years, or 36 months, to renew the discount. There is no cap on the number of times the IPIRP can be taken.

Tablet or Smart Phone? Doesn’t matter.

Along with being accessible on PCs and laptops, our IPRP course is also optimized for use with mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones. No Final Exam

Not all approved IPIRP courses are the same. For example, many courses require that users pass a final exam at the end of the course. Our online course does not. Instead, we use short end of unit quizzes at the end of each unit. This makes for a much more relaxed and comfortable user experience.

Money Back Guarantee

We are so confident that our users will be satisfied with the quality and performance of our course that we offer a full 90-day money back guarantee. The only users not eligible would be those who successfully complete the course or those whose status is disqualified.
