The course also covers the various penalties associated with various offenses and gives the user some helpful information that will hopefully prevent them from getting offenses in the future.
While most people complete the DADAP to satisfy court orders resulting from a ticket of some kind, many others complete it to take advantage of an auto insurance premium discount that is a little known secret. Many but not all auto insurance providers offer the discount, but it is worth finding out. Some employers also require employees to take the DADAP as part of their safety awareness training.
