The course is compatible with most Microsoft, Apple, and Android operating systems. The browser should be configured to support javascript and cookies should be enabled.

Is this course accepted by Florida courts?

Yes. This 8-hour online traffic school course is accepted by Florida clerks of the court. TicketSchool.com is owned and operated by Driver Training Associates, Inc., who has been a DHSMV approved traffic school since 1977.

Who should take the 8-hour traffic school course?

This course can be taken by anyone who needs a standard 8-hour traffic school course, an 8-hour aggressive driving course, or an 8-hour suspended license course. Courts sometimes refer to standard 8-hour traffic school attendance as “Intermediate Driver Improvement” or IDI.

Drivers who take this course to fulfill an IDI requirement have usually already attended a 4-hour basic driver improvement course within the past year. Some Florida courts give drivers the option to keep points off for a second ticket by attending an 8-hour course. You can also take this online course if a court has ordered you to attend an 8-hour course.

This is not the course you need if you have been ordered to attend a 12-hour Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) course, but TicketSchool also offers the ADI course if needed.

Can this course be taken for 8-hour aggressive driving / license suspension?

Yes. You can select either of these options when you register for the course.

Can I change my registration information?

Yes. After you pass the last unit quiz, you will be given the opportunity to change the information that will be printed on your certificate of completion. If you wish to change your information before you attempt the last unit quiz, you may call us at 1-800-222-9199 for assistance.

How is my completion reported?

Once you receive your certificate of completion, you will need to turn it in to the clerk of the court for the county that ordered your attendance. We do not report completions to individual courts. If you fail to turn your certificate in to the court, the court will report you to DHSMV as a “failure to complete” and your license will be suspended. You must turn your certificate in to the court on or before the due date given to you by the court.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes. You may purchase electronic certificate delivery (via PDF download) or overnight shipping during registration or after you pass the last unit quiz. You can also call us at 1-800-222-9199 to request these services by phone.

How can I get in touch with a live person?

For fastest service, please call our toll free Florida customer support number: 1-800-222-9199. You can also send an e-mail to info@ticketschool.com. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding holidays), Central Standard Time.

Is the course all reading?

No. While many Florida 8-hour courses are all text, our course contains more video, interactive animations, and colorful graphics than any other course on the market. Our students prefer this learning style to courses that are 100% reading!

I lost my login code. How can I get it back?

If you lose your login code, go to the course login page. You will see a link that says “I forgot my login code.” Click this link, then enter your e-mail address and click “Submit.” Your login code will be sent to that e-mail address. If you are unable to retrieve your login code, please contact us for assistance.

How long is the course?

The course takes an average user eight hours to complete, but you can study at your own pace. There are no page timers. You can log in and out as many times as you need, and we keep track of your progress so you never lose any of your work. You must complete the course within 180 days from your date of registration. After 180 days, your course access will be suspended.

Does the course contain a final exam?

No. Instead of a final exam, each unit has a short quiz at the end with unlimited attempts. As long as you read the unit material, you will have no trouble passing the quizzes.

What is your refund policy?

To request a refund, you must contact customer support at 1-800-222-9199 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Refund requests must be made within 90 days from the date of registration.
