At TicketSchool.com® we understand and value the importance of maintaining the security and privacy of our customer’s personal information; therefore we have created this page to provide a comprehensive overview of our privacy policy. It is important to note that each online course that we offer has its own set of unique requirements based upon the rules set forth by the corresponding state authority that approves it. This page will explain the manner in which we gather private information, how this information is used, and the security measures that we have set in place to protect it.

Information Collection & Use

Ticketschool.com (hereinafter the “website”) is owned and operated by Driver Training Associates, Inc. (Sugar Land, Texas).  This page provides the general website terms of use, and does not include information that is unique to a particular course.  The course specific terms of use are provided as part of the course registration process and must be accepted prior to payment and course access.

Payment Obligation and Credit Card Authorization

A course user responsible to pay the corresponding course to successfully register for a Ticketschool.com course.  The course user hereby authorizes Ticketschool.com to charge the user’s credit card, debit card, or bank account, to pay for the cost of the course, and any additional features that require an additional fee via automatic debit.  Should a course user request a refund which is denied for a valid reason under terms of use, and should the user subsequently file a claim against Ticketschool.com, Driver Training Associates, Inc. shall be entitled to collect from the user all costs (including attorney fees) associated with defending such a claim.

Refunds

Refunds must be requested by calling customer support at 1-800-558-9887 between 9AM and 5PM CST (Monday thru Friday).  Refund requests must be made within 90 days from the user’s date of initial course payment.   Refunds will not be processed for users that have successfully completed the course or have been disqualified from the course for content (course page questions, unit quizzes, and/or final exam), or identity validation failures.

Identity Validation

All TicketSchool.com courses require the user to validate their identity throughout to make sure the correct person is participating.  The specific identity validation methods vary by course based on the specific state and/or court requirements.  Any data collected from the user during the course registration process, including information used specifically for identity verification purposes (i.e. security questions, driver license number, phone number, email, etc.), are used only for that purpose and will not be sold or provided to any third party.  TicketSchool.com requires each user to agree to the site Terms of Use and Privacy Policy prior to accessing their course, which authorizes the use of their data for identity validation purposes.

Text Messaging

Some TicketSchool.com courses utilize text message for identity verification purposes.  A user receives a text message with a code that must be entered correctly at various stages in the course to ensure the correct person is taking the course.  TicketSchool.com requires each user to agree to the site Terms of Use and Privacy Policy prior to accessing their course, which authorizes TicketSchool.com to send text messages for course identity validation purposes only.  TicketSchool.com will NOT send text messages to a user for any other purpose or provide phone numbers to any third party. Text or data charges may apply depending on the user’s phone plan.

Limited License and Restrictions Governing Use

By registering as a Ticketschool.com course user, or by viewing the website, you are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to participate, view and complete an online course of instruction on this Website and to download and/or print insignificant portions of course materials retrieved from this Website provided that 1) such materials are used only for the purpose of completing a course of instruction for which you are enrolled on this Website; and 2) you, the customer, or others visiting the site, do not remove or obscure the copyright notice or other notices or attempt to alter, for whatever purposes, the materials included on this Website. Except as expressly provided above, no part of this Website – including but not limited to materials retrieved from it and the underlying source code, may be reproduced, republished, copied, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means, without the express written permission of Driver Training Associates, Inc.

Specific Government Copyright Notices

Use, duplication, or disclosure by or for the United States Government is subject to restrictions set forth in DFARS 252.227-7013 (c)(1)(ii) and FAR 52.227-19.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act

Driver Training Associates, Inc. maintains a policy of responding to claims of copyright infringement. In the event of alleged infringement on Ticketschool.com, Driver Training Associates, Inc. will immediately conduct an investigation and respond accordingly as provided in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c) (2)(“dmca”).

From time to time, Ticketschool.com provides links to third party websites for the purposes of enhancing course content on the Website or for the convenience of our customers.
