At TicketSchool.com we don’t just offer courses for tickets.  We also want to help you get your first driver’s license, and our Texas Adult Driver Education course does just that!  The State of Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) requires 18- to 24-year-olds to complete this course before they are eligible to apply for a learner’s permit or their first driver’s license.  For those older than 24, this course is not required by the state, but is still highly recommended.  Here is how the course works:

  1. Register: Sign up in just a few minutes, complete your payment, and gain immediate access to begin your course.
  1. Complete the Course: This TDLR-approved course spans six hours, comprising text, videos, and animations divided into eight units. You have the flexibility to access the course anytime, anywhere, via any internet-connected device (PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone). Your progress is automatically saved, allowing you to log in and out according to your schedule.
  1. Unit Quizzes / Final Exam: You are required to pass a short multiple-choice quiz at the end of each unit and a 30 multiple choice question final exam with at least a 70% to successfully pass the course. Don’t stress! You are given unlimited attempts to pass each unit quiz and three attempts to pass the final.
  1. Completion Certificate: When you successfully pass the course, an official completion certificate (Form ADE-1317) will be made available to you in PDF format for immediate download, saving, and/or printing.
