  • Register: Quickly create your course account in just a couple minutes.
  • Complete the Course: Log in and out of the course as needed to complete the 6 units required from any internet enabled device.
  • Get your Discount: Your completion will be sent to automatically to GEICO within 24 hours of course completion. Their system will apply the applicable discount to your policy.  A completion certificate will also be provided via the delivery method chosen at registration for your records.

Commonly Asked Questions

Per Florida DHSMV requirements, the course must be four hours in length. Each page has a timer to ensure that the right amount of time is spent. The course lets you log in and out from any internet enabled device (smartphone, laptop, etc.) as needed and will automatically save your progress.

Per state regulations, there is a short multiple-choice quiz at the end of each unit that must be passed. You get unlimited attempts to achieve a passing score (80%) on each unit quiz. We DO NOT have a final exam.

After registering you will be given access to the course material. You will proceed through each page of each unit spending the required time reading text and watching videos. You will have to pass a multiple choice quiz at the end of each unit. You can log in and out as needed and the our system automatically saves your progress. After you pass the last unit quiz and complete the course we will process a certificate of completion and send it to you via the delivery method chosen. GEICO will also be notified electronically within 24 hours to apply the discount to your policy.

This page is setup for GEICO customers only at a reduced price. The registration requires a GEICO policy number. If your auto insurance is with a different provider then you will need to go through the standard Florida course registration process here.

The discount for completing a 4-hour Florida Driver Improvement course is good for three (3) years. You are eligible to complete the course once every three years to continue receiving the discount.

The course can be taken by any GEICO insured who is the primary driver of a vehicle on a policy and meets the age requirement. Check here for further eligibility details.
